It depends on the level of Plan you choose, but for the Silver plan with a home checkup it typically takes around 1-2 hours. Gold and Platinum plans take a little longer, because there are additional services that we perform while we’re there.

There is a comprehensive list here. We will go on the roof, in the attic, in the crawlspace (if applicable), and in every room of the home. We test plumbing and electrical fixtures and look for evidence of water damage that may be hidden under floors or inside walls. When we finish we provide you with a comprehensive report, including pictures, that gives you detailed information about each area we inspect.

No! Our service does not include servicing your HVAC unit, and although we will let you know if we see termite activity, your annual termite inspection needs to be done by your pest control company. We should not replace those services, but rather we enhance them. We are looking for things they are not, so we could identify issues in areas they are not checking.

We will notify you immediately and provide you with as much information as we are able to obtain. Some areas are not visible, so we will do the best we can to identify the extent of the problem and what needs to be done to repair it. If you need help finding a qualified professional to do the work, we can refer you to one of our trusted partners to quote the repairs. There is no obligation to use us or our partners to do any repairs. We offer that as a convenience for our Plan Members.

We come once a year for the comprehensive home checkup. Our office will contact you to schedule it for a day and time that is convenient for you.
